Alessandra (or Aly) Myslinski is an American citizen who was born in and has never lived outside of the Bay Area. She is a first-year staff writer for the Scribe. Writing has been one of Aly’s longest-lasting passions, and having the opportunity to write fun articles makes journalism an enjoyable experience. Aly has three cats at home and is inevitably addicted to Youtube and Spotify. Her favorite music includes most alternative and pop, ranging from the 1990s to the 2010s. Some of her favorite artists are Shawn Mendes, Owl City, Fall Out Boy, Avicii, Halsey, and (of course) Taylor Swift. Aly plays on the Wilcox golf team and enjoys watching baseball and basketball. She has never traveled outside of the United States but is hoping to visit Japan, Canada, the Caribbean, and Italy someday.
