Ian Jackson, Journalism Adviser
Mr. Jackson has been the Journalism Teacher and Adviser for The Scribe since 2009.
Hailing from Manchester England Jackson studied Literature and Media Studies at Staffordshire University in the UK and has been teaching English and Journalism at Wilcox High since 2008.
“Journalism has the power to change the world and hold the powers that be accountable for their actions as well as bringing unprejudiced information to the masses. It is a privilege that must not be overlooked and underappreciated by today’s youth. It is also a lot of fun to write about things you are passionate about!”
