Evelyn O’Malley is a Sophomore at Wilcox High School and a staff writer for the Wilcox Scribe. Evelyn chose to pursue journalism as a means of improving her writing skills along with having the freedom to write about her interests outside of academics or hobbyism. Journalism is important to Evelyn not only because of the opportunities it opens up but also the learning experiences it creates. Outside of school, Evelyn likes to independently research about her interests, create art, listen to music and watch movies.
