Alyssa McKercher is an editor of The Scribe in charge of social media, and she is a junior at Wilcox High School. She chose journalism because writing is her passion and she hopes to make an impact on the school community. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys watching Gossip Girl and shopping at Brandy Melville. She also spends a lot of time playing the piano, which she has practiced for eleven years.
