This is Alyssa McKercher’s first year in journalism, she is a sophomore and staff writer for The Scribe. She chose to take journalism because she likes writing and hopes to reach out and connect with others during her time on the team. Something interesting about her is that she is passionate about piano and has practiced it for almost ten years.
