Loving the New LG Robots

Naturally, expert level technology is the most gratifying when presented with full accessibility, just as it dutifully presented itself at the recent Consumer Electronic Show. Rising above your average consumer trade show, the CES has so much to offer with a great range of products. With this in mind, one of the major highlights of the show has been the introduction of the LG Robots.
The LG Robot lineup has more personality to its design and engineering than what innovation has to cover. The production of robotic assistants to aid its mortal creators is hardly a new concept, so it should not come as a surprise to see what new faces have graced the tech viewing platforms. However, something to look forward to with these neatly packaged robots is the colorful interactions their dynamic design elicits. While they are far more technologically advanced than their vacuum operating predecessors, they are handy and convenient to use around the house and other public spaces.
In a residential setting, the Hub robot can seamlessly connect to your smartphone to control other household devices, play music, or answer any question your mind ventures to inquire. While the above-mentioned tasks the Hub bots can conquer seem well handled by former brand name robots of the same caliber, the sleek and cute expressions provided by the robot offers a humanly sort of comfort rarely seen with other helpers. In fact, the Hub robot has a smaller companion of the same functionality to complement its utterly adorable design.
The communal space, however, is still a setting that is not easily managed. Given the bustling nature of society today, it can prove to be difficult to provide orderly and effective help to those in need. Nonetheless, LG has stepped up to the challenge as it plans to distribute the Airbot to airports worldwide. Though the tasks presented to the much larger modules can be just as easily accomplished by the typical kiosks, the Airbots bring a little more personality and calm to a traveler’s waypoint. They work to keep the waiting areas and boarding gates clean whilst scanning cards and mobilizing to direct passengers on their way. At a time where airports are especially hectic and difficult to navigate, a friendly face, albeit a digitally rendered one, can be reassuring.
For most, these innovations bring up the question of true necessity. However, for the interests of many tech enthusiasts, it is all something spectacular to look forward to.
